Get Involved - Donate Kits, Kit Items or Volunteer your time.
How can you help? Individuals or organizations can purchase items and assemble kits according to the specifications outlined by MCC. The cloth bags for the kits are made up at the MCC Material Resource Center of Harleysville. They are available free of charge by calling the office.
Many items are needed for hygiene, school, relief, infant care, and sewing kits. Please see make kits page for specific items. Perhaps your Sunday School class, family or civic group would like to contribute items for kits.
Please call 267-203-8074 if you have some time to volunteer each week. A few hours during the week is fine.
Volunteer opportunities include warehouse work, helping with comforter construction, quilting, cutting fabric for bags, rugs and comforter patches.
If your Sunday School class, youth group, school, business, or other group would like to volunteer please call to be scheduled. We would love to show you our center, tell you about MCC’s work and have you work on projects. Volunteer tasks include decorating comforter patches, knotting comforters, checking and packing kits, and some warehouse tasks.
Our center is open Monday thru Friday 9 am to 3 pm, evenings by appointment.
You can also make financial donations to MCC Material Resource Center of Harleysville for the purchase of materials for any of the kits or to contribute to our general operating expenses. We are a 501c-3 agency and gifts are tax deductible. Contact or send your financial gift to: MCC Material Resource Center of Harleysville, 737 Hagey Center Drive, Unit C, Souderton, PA 18964. You can donate for a specific need or “where most needed”.
