MAKING KITS

MCC addresses various needs by developing standardized kits to meet specific needs.  Kit contents are specifically outlined for each area.  This standardization provides equality when the kits are distributed and also facilitates the shipping.  These kits are supplied through donations from churches and church members and are processed and prepared for shipment at the MCC Material Resource Center.  Some of the kits include: school kits, health kits, sewing kits, AIDS kits, and other specialty kits.

How can you help?

Individuals or organizations can purchase items and assemble kits according to the specifications outlined by MCC.  The cloth bags for kits are made up at the MCC Material Resource Center of Harleysville.  They are available free of charge by calling the Harleysville  MRC office.

Before kits are shipped out, the contents are verified for content and quality. Church groups can schedule work sessions at the MRC to assemble and prepare kits for shipment.        Your youth group can participate in this service.  Call the office to arrange for your group to schedule a service time.

You can make cash tax donations to MCC Material Resource Center for the purchase of material for any of the kits.  MCC Material Resource Center is a 501c-3 agency and gifts are tax deductible.  Contact the office or send your check made payable to:
